Ozone Generators Are Fast Becoming The Next Big Thing!
Ozone generators are devices that are used to generate highly reactive ozone molecules by passing a voltage through a chamber containing oxygen. The ozone gas produced by these machines has many applications, both commercial and private.

On the other hand, ultraviolet light ozone generators use UV rays to produce ozone, but can only achieve a low concentration. Typically, UV generators are more affordable, but only useful in instances where a smaller, steady source of ozone is required. Cold plasma generators produce much higher concentration of very reactive ozone in a shorter period of time. Because they require pure oxygen to function, the cold plasma type is very expensive and far less common.
Ozone generators have a multitude of applications in a variety of environments. The ozone gas that these machines produce combines with particles in both air and water, rendering them inactive. Consequently, functions include odor and taste elimination, mold and mildew extermination, pollution control, disinfecting and inactivation of harmful bacteria and water purification. Ozone generators are often used in cleanup efforts after environmental disasters because they are effective in reducing smoke odors and controlling mold production after floods.
They are used in farm facilities also, primarily for odor control and as a disinfectant. In food production, ozone generators are used to extend shelf life or remove tastes and color from certain foods. In the medical field, ozone is a powerful disinfectant and also has therapeutic applications, such as the treatment of cancer or slow-healing wounds. In the home environment, ozone purifiers are generally used for cigarette smoke or pet odor-control, removal of mildew in small, damp areas and water or air purification.
