How do I get Plastic Off My stove Top? I bought a plastic Spoon holder at a 1$ Store.?
It melted against a Burner and Left a Small Plastic Trail On my New Stove. Its a Gas Burner, I tried scrubbing with bleach, A Bristle Brush, Im afraid anything esle will scratch the stove top. Its White. The Problem is I smelled Burning i came into kitchen and Move it ,...so Burned plastic is in the MIDDLE of stove. so even when stove is clean, It doesnt look clean.
Ive been covering it up with things.
But I want it to go away. No more Plastic Cheap things. ANY help?
The best way is to melt it off.
Get a cheap wood burning "soldering" iron (it's not really for solder) at Ben Franklin hobby section. Keep the iron in the plastic spot and keep melting it and wiping the iron & stove with a DRY rag.
